and since we are all located on the East Coast,

Kelly
Kelly is a lovely, very red bundle of joy and energy! Don't let her white face fool you. Her teeth and her energy level are that of a really young girl! She is probably around 6 years old. She is quite petite and incredibly loving! Here is what Kelly's foster Mom wants you to know:
Kelly is so sweet, a really lovable dog. She is housebroken and loves, loves treats. We are working on good manners. She never jumps on people and has become a great watch dog, She barks at all the golfers who come near the patio but her tail never stops wagging. She thrives on affection and really wants to please. Kelly is docile and will make great pet in a family or with a single owner. She likes to watch tennis and look behind the TV for where the ball went. She also has become quite attracted to herself in the full length mirror. Walking with her outside has become a pleasure with the new harness.

Yes, Baby is my name! I am 5 years old. I am house broken, spayed, micro
chipped and current on my shots. NOW the important stuff. My foster Mom says I
couldn't be sweeter. I am fine with Kids and dogs. I am a little shy...but love
to be loved and come out of my shell with hugs and belly rubs!

NAPOLEON IS UP FOR ADOPTION!!
Here is what his foster dad says about him: After his grooming yesterday he looks like a new man and acts like one too. He has also gained two pounds! Of course he got a bit dirty at the park today with Maya but they had a good time. Napoleon is an excellent retriever! -He LOVES to play fetch and will throw the ball to you when he brings it back. If you do not throw it quick enough, he will pick it up and throw it at you again. - so far he responds to sit, shake or give paw, down, roll over and most amazingly the begging -he actually waves his paws at you. He is a snuggler in bed. He loves toys but can be a destroyer, especially if there is a squeaky inside. He does have Velcro tendencies and he likes to be around humans. Dogs- not so sure about. No aggression- I just think he likes humans more. He has played briefly with Maya. He rarely barks. I have heard him bark twice since Monday. -NO food aggression.

Meet Leah (pronounced Laya). She is 5 years old. She is French Canadian
(born in Montreal) She is fun and a big girl and loves to play! She knows lots
of commands!
Leah is a very beautiful golden with a gorgeous red coat and a very loving
rambunctious personality. She loves to swim, fetch, knows all of her basic
commands and of course is potty trained. She loves being the center of
attention...so if she were an only dog...that would be no problem. She is fine
with kids...but maybe a little bit bigger Kids as she does play with lots of
energy. If you are interested in meeting Leah.

This is what Buster's owner says:
"Meet Buster, a purebred Golden who’s a love sponge. He’s two years old now and still thinks he’s a puppy. He loves everyone, is very active, needs lots of attention and loves walks. Buster lives with a cat, bird and children, but sometimes isn’t so great with a strange dog approaching his people. He likes to ‘hold hands’ and watch animals on t.v.
‘Affectionate’ doesn’t begin to describe it. He does have hip dysplasia, but it hasn’t hampered him. We try to be careful of it though—he can jog, but games like jumping up to catch a Frisbee and landing on his hind legs isn’t for him. Swimming would be a good exercise, but he doesn’t like it—go figure. He doesn’t bark much, but that bark would keep away any bad guys!
He weighs 85 lbs., and the vet says that’s a perfect weight for him. He eats regular food, but we also give him glucosamine, which you can buy at Walmart and other discount stores. Buster loves to play ‘blanket’—he grabs his blanket, then marches in front of everyone wagging his tail as if to say, “I’m so naughty; someone should take this blanket away”, and we’re supposed to pull on it.
Occasionally, our cat sneaks out behind Buster into the backyard, and Buster will help us by chasing the cat back inside. If anything is out of place in the house, he goes on full alert. Want to drive him nuts? It’s as simple as moving something, such as a chair, out into the middle of the room. He’ll bark at it until you put it away. On the other hand, he leaves his blanket everywhere. He will do anything for a treat, loves to please, and will train easily. He will follow you anywhere and curl up at your feet, but if it’s been too long, he’ll go get his leash and bring it to you!
Buster is a wonderful dog, and it’s very difficult to give him up."

Fudge- adoption in progress
My name is Fudge. I am spayed and current on my shots. I am such a pretty girl. I am around 3 years old. I would love to live in a quiet household. I have lived in a home with lots of small kids and action and really, for me, quiet is better. I am very petite. I weigh about 40 lbs. I am timid now, but with some love and attention, I will get my confidence back and make a wonderful forever "almost Golden". I have had lots of training and know lots of commands.
