Hi, My name is Ben. I am 2 years old and I could be the handsomest Dude EVER! I am young and big and I love to play, play, play. In fact, because I am so big and have so much energy, I think I might be better in a home with kids maybe over 5...I LOVE kids, it's just that I am EXUBERANT!! I am current on all my shots and will be neutered very soon I have worked with a trainer, so, I am officially a "work in progress". A fenced yard would be good so I can get lots of exercise. I am a very special little girl. I am 9 months old and the rescue saved from certain death. You see, I was born deaf. My owner never tried to train me and brought me to the pound to "euthanize" me. Obviously, the rescue wouldn't let that happen. So they took me from the pound and took me to their vet, which is when they determined I could not hear. After I got spayed and all my shots, I went to a place where we have been working on my training. I am doing really, really well. If someone taps me on the back to get my attention I know lots of commands. I walk well on a leash and know how to stop when you do. I am so excited that someone is spending the time (and the money) to teach me how to be a great family member. I am still very much a puppy and have lots of energy. If I could live in a home with another dog and maybe some place to run I think my life could really be great. I am ever so sweet and you can see how gorgeous I am. Lady and Cissy
Hello, we are Lady, 7 years old and Cissy 6 years old. We've been together as long as we can remember. We are the sweetest dogs you can find. Our foster mother says we give a new meaning to sweet. The last couple of years have been hard for us. Our owner became homeless and we all lived in a car! Then more bad luck struck and we found ourselves in a county shelter. We were very unhappy there. Our original Mom contacted Golden Rescue and asked for their help in getting us out. Guess what??? They did!
Our luck turned and we were rescued! Monique came to get us (Monique was "the Saint" who rescued Jack... for those of you who remember him and his sad story!) She took us to the vet and he told Monique that we are very, very healthy. We have all our shots and we are spayed and micro chipped. Now that we've had some time to relax and regain our confidence we are looking forward to finding a wonderful, safe and loving forever home, where we can live happily ever after, together!
